Someone just let me know why some are backing out of reading this before I may waste my time or decide to read it
So there the MC and ML. The MC becomes his reading companion and fall in love.As they grow older, our ML becomes obsessive and deeply loves the FL. Fearing she will leave, he tricks our FL to stay on his estate so that he can make love to her. She gets pregnant and doesn't tell Kyle. The reason she leaves him is that the ML has to marry another woman (Letticia) to protect Angie and due to his position in order to break away from the Emperor's power over him. She would be harmed and the target of his weakness if they married. She flees from Kyle and later gives birth to his son, Noah. About 3 years pass before they can see each other again. In the end, Kyle and Angie live the rest of their lives in another country as wealthy merchants and no one knows any more about his old family name, the Blackwell's secret. They won't take any title so they don't have to go to gatherings where they could be recognized.
You start to think that it getting good right? But just wait. The ML brother or 1/2 brother Michael is in love with the MC. He is batshit crazy. He is obsessed with the MC. He rapes and murders his wife for her inheritance. He kidnaps the mc. Then he locks her up for 1 month and continues to rape her before Kyle can rescue her and kill Michael. After Michael's death, Kyle decides to give mc a memory drug so she can forget the horrible trauma as she has nightmares and seizures every night from the ordeal. So in the end, the mc no longer remembers that terrible month. But guess what? The MC has a baby and it might not be the ML child but rather Michael. However the ML doesn't care as he deems it as his and mc child.
Thank you, now I know to never read this manhwa. Just wtf is this story? Why the hell the author thought its a good idea to trick FL into going to bed with ML and even give ML an evil half brother (cliche as hell, if u ask me) who kidnaps the FL and rapes her for a month? Seriously? What's wrong with the author. They could make the story good without the rape that traumatizes the FL so badly.
Sorry for the rant, but I hate when the author just thinks its fine to have the MC raped because "why not?". I doesnt even bring anything to the story, it just makes it infuriating.
Yea.... unless the manhwa changes some of the plot I don't think I'll be reading this..
