From her perspective, the shitty father goes and cheats on her mother, and shows the love and affection he didn't show to her to that illegitimate child. As if it is not enough, that illegitimate child is chosen by some rock as the heir of family. Ofc it doesn't excuse that child being abused by her mother since the whole blame lies with her father, but still, her half-sister technically came out of nowhere and took everything that was supposed to belong to her. So I cannot really blame Byatt for despising MC and wanting to eliminate her, since again, in another manhwa from Byatt's perspective, she could've also been an MC trying to reclaim her rightful position as the legitimate heir
it just rubs me the wrong way that the dark skinned twin has to be the evil one whereas the white twin is the angel and gets everything. what is with these authors and their blatant racism towards dark skinned characters smh they are either depicted as barbarian tribes or evil demons

I love how they changed the transmigrator's identity in the manhwa - in novel, she was not the real Athy but a random reader of the novel from another world. But in the manhwa, she is actually the real Athy who just forgot who she is. I think it made her relationship with her dad much more impactful, and I love her reunion scene with her mother, the mom smooching her all over lol. I think it was a really nice change
