Idk if it means anything but in the novel it didn't say he was brown at least not when he first showed up as a kid.

I haven't read the whole novel so maybe his description changed but beside that if the author did say something racist it's still wrong.

my korean is not good but i can at least read enough to have not caught anything racist in their tweets/replies. i also checked sources to double check that these are their twitter accounts i am not sure if 티바 has an account but i couldnt find. i checked the past 5 mths of content in 이른꽃's page and the past 2 mths of content in 여슬기's page, couldn't find anything that has anything to do with white and black people. also did normal twitter search to see if anybody complained in english or in korean and almost 90% of those tweets are just lists of manhwas to read. i cant read japanese so i skipped those tweets lol

now i can say there have been a few authors of manwha adaptions and books (not artists) that have put out islamophobic and racist tweets but the author of this adaption nor the artist author were on the list of them

i just checked again the authors and they aren’t one of them i got confused because someone posted their manhwa as a ss to the authors that were being called out and now they deleted the ss of the manhwa because they confused the names of the manhwas apparently anyways i’m really sorry i should’ve checked more than once this isn’t right but there are really three authors that were racists to arabs i’ll delete this thread after a while after making sure yall are seeing this, again i’m so so sorry i got agitated and acted on my emotions because i’m an arab so when i saw the things those three authors said and saw someone post this ss i spoke without checking which isn’t an excuse whatsoever i fcked up. if yall want the account that called out the other three authors i’ll post it and it’s real just the ss of this manhwa isn’t which is why its deleted now because people corrected them. also the one that called them out isn’t the same one that posted the ss of this manhwa. once again i’m so so sorry

no no they didn’t say anything racist i mixed up the situation and it made me mad seeing they have a brown character after what was said but no it was all wrong i mixed up the authors because someone posted a ss of this manhwa to the authors that were being called out at the time thinking this was their manhwas but its NOT! people corrected them and they deleted it again please read the reply i posted for this thread and again i’m so sorry

its honestly the least i could do after accusing them of disgusting sht like that i should always check the facts before acting based on my emotions.
and yes here is the thread with the authors @s on twitter idk their works but i think they have it in their accounts. what made them angry is that an arab person translated one of their works into arabic, and instead of calling them out on it they resorted to being islamophobic because that person was an arab when being an arab has nothing to do with being a muslim because a lot of us are atheists, christian or jewish as well so its fcked up.

im not really sure myself what their works are but id say we don't have to keep throwing hate. for now, if you are against them, just dont support them i guess since it is up to you but since they apologized, itd be bad on our end if we keep hating them/sending hate comments since they did apologize. they were super duper immature, ignorant for their comments and i hope they really learned from it but we will see.
