What??? Omg She does have emotions obviouslyyyy. They are very complex, she’s a people pleaser but at the same time she has the deepest sense of loneliness and of never feeling like she has belonged anywhere because of her childhood. She thinks she has to be perfect to be accepted and loved but she doesn’t really believe or trust other people’s love or admiration of her because perhaps that would stop if she stops performing. She doesn’t trust or believe them either because most of them haven’t experienced such deep loneliness, or at least that she knows of and that’s why Jin joo is special to her. If Doyeon never heard her constant weeping at night she never would have been interested in her romantically because she wouldn’t have clocked this deep sadness or loneliness that she thinks Jinjoo has. Doyeon seems to be demisexual and Jinjoo’s sadness, that bond and relatability unlocked that romantic and sexual potential for her that she had never felt before. She wants to give Jinjoo unconditional love and devotion, love that she has never received, to soothe Jinjoo’s heart so that Doyeon herself feels fulfilled too. And she’d pretty much do anything for Jinjoo because of this.
So Doyeon might be sociopathic in nature and JinJu is codependent to the extreme??
