Tbh escape, like I started watching anime when my parents and my brother were abusive, and I was bullied in school and it kinda is still with me, only the bullying stopped ,but it helps against my suicidal thoughts. I watch/read mostly romances like yaoi, yuri, hetero ones, but I get jealous cus they have something what I don't.   reply
