there’s very subtle angst in this one but it doesn’t overpower the story but rather it makes clear sense on ‘why’ both characters (mc and ml) act and talk like the way they do and don’t hold it against each other surprisingly

(ongoing, 75 chapters with 8 short anime episodes that adapted the first minor half of the original manga with a few minor changes but they did include the sex scenes so.. priorities? it’s up to you if you wanna watch it and the uncensored version, also gonna add that it got a live action adaptation recently)

to summarize, mc (who starts as a yellow flag) works in an office where he’s popular and admired by his co workers while they all have no idea it’s a mere front and that he’s actually a narcissistic playboy outside of work

as he’ll often hook up with guys and goes on dating apps but to his own dismay he can’t find love (while at the same time being a judgmental asshole who rates his hookups)

atleast until he meets the ml who he judges the living fuck out at first as they’re co workers yes but also complete polar opposites

but.. they end up going on a business trip where they hook up and make a deal that they can keep sleeping together if mc doesn’t fall for him

I’ve stayed with it because both mc and ml visibly develop and grow from the beginning as quite clearly in the latest chapter, and how the author herself handles certain topics actually feels really nice and respectful

kiss the coming apocalypse, literally ‘none’ of the women or even the mc herself are remotely good people to put it mildly lmao

plot tldr: the worlds population of men began to suddenly die out at one point without reason or cause, thus for years a cure and solution was sought after because ya know.. birth rates and shit

unfortunately no solution was ever found, so shit got bad real fucking quick

if you’re born a male, you’re either sold off as a baby or outright killed because you’re not a girl, and if not that? later in life you’ll either be sold off into human trafficking rings if not worse, or given to a shelter where your sperm will be forcibly taken, rated, and given to women across the world who want babies for the cycle to repeat itself

and yes, men who do try to cross dress to blend in are unfortunately usually caught very quickly or sold out so.. yeah, you’re toast in every situation

I just play games to distract myself and fall asleep. I play tower defense or puzzle games like word search or those mystery games on playstore. Can't afford a therapist right now and this is the only way I know how to deal with it.

Vent journalinh and meditation (believe me it works, just sit with your eyes closed quietly, and feel grounded, humbled, think of you, the universe, how small we are, how huge the grand scheme is and feel empowered that your are the enlightened one, ik it sounds crazy but it has always worked for me)

Also try to name your emotions, like where is the anxiety coming from, what is the cause, the route, the trigger, you'll feel lighter when you name it. Humans tend to name what they fear and by naming it, it becomes less fearful.

Take deep breaths. Breathe through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Usually you count to 10.

Take a few deep breaths: breathe in for 5 seconds, hold for 5, exhale for 5. Do this 5 times.
Then use the 5-4-3-2-1 method for grounding.
Look around you, name 5 things you can see. Name 4 things you’re touching.
Name 3 sounds you’re hearing.
Name 2 things you can smell, and finally,
name 1 thing you can taste.
