Lowkey kinda racist dawg there are plenty of good Chinese works out there (Heaven's Official Blessing, 19 Days, Salad Days or pretty much anything from Changpei Literature Club). Just cuz there's one bad story don't mean they're moralless.

One bad story? Girl I’ve read a lot and the ones you mentioned are probably the only good stories they have. The rest are trash. Senseless dialogue, senseless drama, senseless plot. Girl someone can literally kill someone in front of a crowd in their dramas and they will not see it as a crime. That’s how stupid their plots usually are

This is yaoi we're talking about, there's trash all over the place, look at the featured page, Jinx and Love is an Illusion are still highly rated for some reason. Doesn't mean all yaoi is bad or that the majority is hot garbage, it's just the select few you've been seeing.

Nope, I'll actually agree that yaoi manhuas are the worst if you think about grape, then it's japanese mangas in the second place. Unfortunately manhwas are following that trend.

It all simply depends on luck and what you're counting as rape, for me, I've seen WAY more rape in manga than manhua, probably because I've read more of them because they are more popular on this site, so there's more garbage I've ran into.

I beg to differ. Mo Dao Zushi. Wei Wuxian was the only person. The entire show and book was about how that got him in severe trouble. Nearly everybody was a sociopath which is kind of the point of cultivation fantasy. Most of them are sociopathic opportunists.

Chinese manhuas are still way better than Korean manhwas when it comes to morals. At least with manhuas, you know the ML and ONLY the ML would do all of this to the MC and you can either choose to tolerate or just drop it altogether if you can’s stand it but with manhwas; the ML, the side ML, the antagonist, random side characters and even passersby would also join in and sexual harass or rape the MC like he’s a slice of cake everyone gets a piece of.

If I had to choose, I would pick manhuas any day. At least you can make sense of some of the madness but with manhwas, the rape just jumps at you for no apparent reason and you can’t even make sense of it cos it feels like it was just added as some sort of extra garnish and there is NEVER any sort of repercussion for these crimes. It just gets swept under the rug like it’s a normal thing.

I have had to resort to always checking the comments and asking questions if there would be rape or gangrape by other characters before I pick up any manhwa read no matter how glowing the recommendations are.

what can we even do now? these authors will keep making such gross manhwas and people with rape fantasies will eat it up. People who actually are sane should rate it zero at least.
