while reading this, i could repeatedly forgive the story for being annoying and frustrating because of the uke’s pure cuteness and sexiness. and honestly thank god because i realized more of the story’s little nuances and details about the characters only by the end. thank you mareo for being so sexy and emotional. you are also the reason for me even picking this up because i saw the cover on twitter and i just really had to fucking find this beautiful, rare, decadent-looking uke, literally searched everywhere for the story. your twinkification was also kind of sad to see but ur still so sexy anyway

i realllyyy tried to push through bc the rating was high and ayumu is soo cute and the narration is funny enough but i just cannot Stand runa. im sorry, theres a limit to pulling pigtails until it crosses over to real intentional or unintentional demeaning shit, even if ayumus too oblivious or cares for him either way

the potential.. i was enjoying this sososo much halfway in and then the weird dog subplot came in which ok i can try to ignore. but the story probably got cut so everything became rushed and filled with weird details, and author was probs like What the Hell Sure since nothing won’t go as intended anyway. it deeply saddens me how fucked it got by climax and especially the ending,, i also rly felt sad that everything got soo flat, what i loved in the beginning was how we see these characters beyond the assigned role and setting, the affected reality behind the shallow novel surface. but then we suddenly return to chosen protagonists and main leads and all of a sudden people still don’t have a consciousness for themselves anymore—it was js so weirdd to see extras still be mindless worshippers, albeit of mc now, when it felt like that was something shown as twisted and wrong before

its a bit sad how the nuance portrayed is ignored by most here but it is what it is (a smut manhwa)

u can kind of tell the author js had a fetish and a porn fantasy plugging up their brain so they wrote it, but they don’t want to commit bc again it’s just for their pleasure
