How long is the hiatus? I’m assuming just a week given it’ll be every 5 chapters?
I reread the story to help keep my mind preoccupied while I waited for the new chapter, and I realized, Yujin barely looks beat the fuck up in that last panel… lol He mainly was red and covered in hickies and bite marks, when he really should have been covered in splotches of purple and green

i feel this sometimes. But thinking further about it, he's quite young and this could be normal to a teenage boy.
This is normal to any teenage boys that haven't fight in his life
It doesn’t matter that he’s a “boy”. I’ve never seen teenagers act petrified every time there’s confrontation, be it verbal or physical. He even reacts that way any time there’s slight tension, thinking that fight MIGHT ensue… Mind you, he chose to attend a school that does nothing but fight.
It has nothing to do with him being a “boy”. It’s not normal behavior unless he has severe PTSD, but if that were the case, he wouldn’t have enrolled into a school that does nothing but fight.
Mind you, he reacts that way anytime there’s a tense moment. He overreacts a lot.
I understand physical fights can be really scary, especially to children and adolescents, but his reactions are just too much. How many more fights does he need to witness and be involved in (of his own accord too) before he relaxes?
Let’s remember he was bullied in middle school. He was never able to stop those bullies, a student from Furin was the one who stood up for him. He’s got enough courage and resolve to attend Furin even though physical confrontations scare him. Just because he has the resolve and is willing to put the work in to get stronger, doesn’t mean he’s suddenly going to be a strong fighter. I get that his reactions might come off as exaggerated, but I think it’s a normal reaction for someone his age. Actually, everyone else is just wild for being able to handle the violence they have to put up with to protect their town and everyone in it. I really do understand your point of view, but Nirei has had a very slow, steady, and very real development.
Ima have to pretend I never saw that awkward ass carry from Aaron with Yujin…
I try not to be overly critical of artists, but sometimes they make it so hard, especially digital artists. I rarely see such awkward / stiff posing or expressions from traditional manga / manhwa like I do with digital. Nevertheless, I love it all and I appreciate the skill and effort it takes to make all this
He's done that carry before. I keep thinking of a buff man doing such carries with another buff guy and I think it'd be awkward, but if they make it work...

Yeah, but it was a little less awkward in past scenes. I’ve seen folks give bear hugs like this, which fits the playful mood that typically surrounds these hugs. However, in this scene, Yujin looked past out, so he would’ve been dead weight. It just looks awkward. It would’ve made more sense if he had picked him up, like holding onto his butt with his knees around his waist kinda carry

I think it would be more entertaining the other way around because Gyuyoung is sooo soft and sweet. It would be so much fun to see him flip his switch and become a scary older brother to others. Plus, Gyuchan is already mean mugging as a baby, so it doesn’t take too much imagination to see how he would look as an overprotective brother lmao
I’m so upset about this hiatus. I’ve been so stressed and overwhelmed with work that I almost broke down yesterday in the office. I was dreading getting out of bed this morning when I realized it was Wednesday and a new chapter was out. I thought, ‘let me read the new chapter before I get the work day going to get me in chipper spirits’, and what do I find? HIATUS
