Jaeyi is such a refreshing ml, he acts like an asshole sometimes but seems to actually care about Ideum and doesn't go out of his way to purposely hurt him
he feels like a very real person instead of the cardboard cutout tops in most BL. he's genuine in his care and is a decent human being with flaws. i'm really glad the author didn't take go the same route of making him a toxic abusive jerk just bc of his flaws. for a moment there i was really scared that was where we're headed
YEAHH!!! I totally agree, I really love Ideum too bc we see HOW his personality has been shaped, he isn't "timid" or "shy" for no reason, unlike other mc's Ideum feels so nice and realistic to me, the chapter with his mom made me cry
