The more I read, the more the phrase "If my mother has truly changed then that means she was always capable of change but I just wasn't worth changing for" is stuck in my head lol. I never thought there would be a time when I would say this but here we are. The plot, art style, characters, and depth of it all are honestly very captivating. However, the excess sex scenes just overpower the plot, which is a bummer. The plot is very fast-paced, so you won't get stuck with the feeling of hunger for information, nor will it make you scream at your screen, scolding the characters. There are a lot of anxious, reassurance types of conversations, which is nice because this type of relationship where both of them have separation anxiety isn't very depicted much in the BL community (I could be wrong). One of them is clearly mentally unstable and the other one is spiraling down into unstable territory, this is one of the reasons why I say this story is so captivating but I wish the author focused more on showing the progression of their relationship and how they are individually rather than their progression in the bedroom so often.

We all have seen many smart Mc regressing and trying to save the world but it's the first time I've read a muscle head Dumbo who regressed and is trying to save the world lol. I sometimes end up comparing Tiny with Cale and how different their approach towards saving the world is HAHAHA. In TCF, Cale moves swiftly and very discreetly so he has the upper hand, but here it's the opposite. Tiny moves boldly that the organization knows of him so they have the upper hand, but he's powerful enough to overpower them either way.
