Like, ML just let him think whatever so he could fall deep and not leave. Also, even if ML waited for Mc, he still manipulated situations for Mc to fall deep in his mess, taking advantage of his giving nature and empathy. Still toxic and dangerous (due to his line of work), would not recommend as a lover.
Is it so wrong to have the Mc grow from her still immature feelings, one she doesn't quite know to be love yet and end up being rejected at the end? I would really prefer it to be just a one sided crush and the guy never seeing her that way.

This whole set up between the Mc and her brother is honestly such a good exploitation of reader's tears when executed. Mc getting emotional (staying strong and arguing with him but crying out of relief and gratefulness behind close doors and her brother hearing it on the other side) when they finally reunited after 5 years and her brother being so guilty, he decided to take all the responsibility of saving the world on his shoulders so that his little sister would finally be able to rest and live her life. However, as the future keeps changing, he becomes more anxious and withdrawn, nearing a mental breakdown. And when the time comes, he just breaks down. Not angry, not even crying, just defeat after seeing that he couldn't do anything at all, seeing how weak he is that he has to rely on his younger sister on saving the world when she deserve to rest.
The comments are full of the same guess of the plot and yeah, it's probably gonna end up in the obvious way but the writing of the plot is actually good so I don't really give that much crap about it. What makes me sad is the fact that OG Princess may have a moment of reflection like, "So my life could've gone like that, I just wasn't strong enough to make it like that". The more I read, the more the phrase "If my mother has truly changed then that means she was always capable of change but I just wasn't worth changing for" is stuck in my head lol. The child is too good for his own good, I know it's just for convenience while but I really wanted to see some more angst rather than just all wholesome (although I know this manhwa is all about wholesome cliche lol)
I never thought there would be a time when I would say this but here we are. The plot, art style, characters, and depth of it all are honestly very captivating. However, the excess sex scenes just overpower the plot, which is a bummer. The plot is very fast-paced, so you won't get stuck with the feeling of hunger for information, nor will it make you scream at your screen, scolding the characters. There are a lot of anxious, reassurance types of conversations, which is nice because this type of relationship where both of them have separation anxiety isn't very depicted much in the BL community (I could be wrong). One of them is clearly mentally unstable and the other one is spiraling down into unstable territory, this is one of the reasons why I say this story is so captivating but I wish the author focused more on showing the progression of their relationship and how they are individually rather than their progression in the bedroom so often.

I felt the same. The side stories for example were basically about sex. I was expecting the families meeting each other, maybe a wedding, but in the end there wasn't much story.
