It’s weird. I believe the fact they spent 3 years together but he grew up away from Tei helpsssssss but it’s still weird. It was platonic then but there wasn’t an adjustment period just “ah he was a child but now he’s a man” and part of me goes ehuckkkkkk. Eh. As with most BL you gotta play dumb and blind a little to enjoy the story.

The emperor is a crazy psycho, standard common behaviour like niceties and pleasantries BORE HIM terribly. She needs to keep being entertaining and thinking out of the box in order to survive, and being nice to him it's definitely not entertaining enough.

Normally when a manwha has a female mc the action is so much less and she is centred around less fights and gaining power and more romance, this was the perfect amount of both. I won’t ever forget this book. It’s like my first love that I’ll yearn for, I’ll ache for the exhilarating adrenaline rush, I chase after it, but I’ll never be able to fully quench my thirst of never-ending lust for a love as pure as my first. It’s the peak, so peak that from here is only downhill. I’m never recovering from this. No I’m not being dramatic.
