I don’t think she was necessarily wrong on what she said I think the BL community normalizes children reading pornographic media and I’m aware that Yaoi isn’t smut and it’s a normal part of relationships, but let’s be honest majority of these children and teenagers aren’t reading wholesome media about queer love they’re straight up reading about a Twink getting raped for 100 chapters. That is not something we should normalize or encourage in any way. Same I’m around the same age as him and I started reading yaoi when I was 13, but not a lot. I started reading way more when I was 17. I feel like a lot of people consume yaoi when they are young and I feel like it can alter their chemistry not in a good way if it’s something like slammer dogs or something way worse. Though I do think they should read BL like shounen ai Lamy just addressed it so bad
