since i am reding this, i can tell u it is a bit long but amazing. U jst need to remember the main characters which being 9-10 characters? The lore is like in two sections the main details u have to remember, and the other part is just some backup lore to give more depth in the scene. i read the first 700 pages in novel before starting to read the manga a year later and thats how i understood that u dont necessarily need to understand some lore and still get the story. I have seen the trailer of the adaptation and i can tell u it is kinda dissapointing but again this type of genres are better to not be adapted into movies as it loses its beauty.
