Honest opinion : She actually ruined things for herself and Roger.. if she had not lied to him, she could have been in a better place. Roger before this wasn't crazy over her and respected her too. When he told her that he believed she didn't push his mother, I was ecstatic because in most scenarios the male lead is too emotional to think logically and see the truth.. but what did she choose to do?she chose to lie. Like the poor fellow just lost his mother, his home and you decide to leave him too..why? Coz he could possibly lose so much due to her ability.. like that is just a possibility girl it's not the future..see you are literally trying to survive and finish the game, you should think about that first ..and if you wanted to take accountability so badly for all that had happened to him, stay with him during the difficult times instead and try to protect him not run away.. either way the proposal was for a year initially so she could have just stayed for that duration..and if she could not go back, she would atleast have a good person on her side and live comfortably..

Did you forget the part where the Crown Prince directly threatened her and let her know this was all orchestrated by him to get her to submit.
