I thought I was going crazy; I couldn't find this manga for days, and all it took was getting rid of all those trashy manhwa in my search!! God, this was such a good story; I'm so glad I found this—part of my list of MLs I actually like, omg.
It's a vague memory of mine, but I'll try to be as descriptive as possible. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, hit me up!
-First things first, the story I'm looking for is a Manga. The male lead has this low, long ponytail, kind of childish in a charming way, and is very friendly with his people (the type to go into town in a very bad disguise that everyone may or may not secretly know is him and doesn't say anything; I can't quite remember that detail) FL is more blurry on details, she may have really light brown, blonde, or silver hair idk.
-Plot: Noble girl (Duke's daughter? idk) gets accused of attempted murder of the saint(?) and gets sent to the forbidden forest to be killed off by this monster, I think? Anyways, she's then saved by the "monster prince," who rules the neighboring kingdom and agrees to let her stay
-I remember this scene where the Monster Prince completely overthrows the FL's old kingdom so quickly and has the fake saint dragged to the throne room where all the nobility are waiting, kneeling on the ground with buckets on their heads. When they see her, all of the Nobles start cursing her out and blaming her for their doom. After that, all the Monster Prince's guards are chopping off their heads, and you just see a bunch of blood spraying across the room. We also learn in later chapters that the Fake Saint is a reincarnator, but no one else is.
After the whole execution, the Fake Saint is brought back to the Monster Prince's kingdom for the FL. FL challenged the Fake Saint for her freedom; if she's able to tell FL 1 new story every day for 100 days. Fake Saint completes it.
There's a heavy theme of "stories" in the manga, like:
-The prince loves stories and spends time with the FL, talking to her about them, her own story and situation, etc.
That's pretty much everything I remember, ngl. I hope this helps at all. Sorry if some of this doesn't make sense, but I am desperate to find anything, and Google doesn't help when half of everything I search is a webtoon or manhwa.
She's literally at odds with herself. One side, the one we knew, thinks of Lukas and Artoria as her own kids. Of course she doesn't want them to suffer and die. On the other hand, she already promised herself to do anything to achieve her goal. And that meant lying to herself, her comrades, and sacrificing her loved ones. Lalawag didn't want to do this, but everything within her knew this was the best option.
It's tragic to have a gift where you can't even trust yourself, ya'know?
Alright, I'm glad there's a clear chance for redemption with lil ' sis, like, ofc she doesn't actually want her sister gone; she's a kid following her parents' lead. And if MC plays her cards right, they could have a pretty cool team-up.
This guy spent 5 pages thinking about nothing but her through flashbacks, got a full page art of her when seeing her, and then confessed... Peak I fear
How Cecil is forcing his eyes and mouth upward to the point it looks painful.
How sinister his smile looks, to the point that you can tell it's fake.
I think this is the first time we've even seen Cecil's eyes pitch black.
I love it, love love love this!!!! God, this author is a master at drawing expressions!!!

Ughhh, such an empowering scene for women, really want to read more stories of women getting inspired by other women to follow their dreams!!
This is not a clean-cut love story. Nor is it a story completely about divorce. It's about redemption. The ML was an asshole, and the FL's father wasn't the best, but they're working to be better. Rosa (FL) only knows one side of the story from her side with her Dad, while we watch things change afterwards.
Give the ML some time. He does deserve the animosity towards him, but he is actively trying to become better thanks to Rosa and her father. Especially because of the latest bunch of chapters (ch. 20 - 25), I'm starting to respect him more.
As for the father, he is my favorite character in the story. It's tragic and heartwrenching, but really good, I promise.
Overall, I like the direction the story's going. I'll repeat this: This is a redemption story. Don't go into this rooting for everyone's downfall, but hope they will do better. (I'm still rooting for Rosa to get a chance with her crush, though!)
I DESPISE STEP-SIBLING OR RELATIVE LOVE INTERESTS! THE FEM MC HAD THE MOST RELATABLE, AND HONESTLY CORRECT REPONSE TO LEARNING YOUR BROTHER SEES YOU AS A WOMAN AND NOT HIS SISTER OH MY GOD!!!!!
You have no idea how often I've read trashy shoujo that have the sibling as a romance option for the Fem Mc. I HATE IT! The fact that this is one of the few times I've seen the MC actively show fear/sadness/rage at her own brother for his feelings is so upsetting omg.
I don't care if they're pretty, I don't care if they're your type. Dating someone who is related to you in any way, shape, or form is disgusting. It's fine if you like the brother for yourself, you're not the sister, do as you like. But if you are actively shipping siblings/step-siblings together, you are gross. The past had to deal with that problem, and the modern day shouldn't. I can't stand seeing it portrayed in a positive or interesting light in any way, shape, or form. Step-sibling romance through marriage is gross; you're still siblings, end of sentence. It's so obvious to me that anyone who likes this trope has never had a sibling or is from Alabama.
Imagine growing up with someone all your life, spending your time around them 24/7. Through all the awkward phases, bickering, etc. It's not sunshine and rainbows; hell, sometimes you'll feel like choking them out. But overall, you have a bond that no one will have, one where you don't gotta put up a guard or mask because there's no point, they've seen all the ugly stuff already! And then you find out that your sibling likes you, not as family but as a real crush. Then what does that say for all the awkward moments? Those times you had to share a room? Those times you walked in on each other? Were they perving on you the entire time? Did you ever have true privacy in your own house? Were you ever truly safe in your own room???
I just can't stand it, as someone with multiple sliblings its a trope I truly despise with my whole being.
Sorry for the long rant, just felt I had to get this out sooner or later, and I'm here just celebrating the MC's disgust over this damn trope fr.
