I was looking for something new to fill my reading schedule up, because I'm caught up with everything and honestly didn't expect too much...


Now I goddamn love all of these oafs. I can't wait for updates. This has such a nice balance of comedy, slice of life and drama. It's on the slower side. Especially in the beginning, but I think the characters and their interactions overcome the problem quite well.

I do not like Mincheol... To be fair, I do not like the ML either, but why the fvck are folks complaining about a multi-facetted story.

Now, the actual complaint should be that all of those backstories are in Mincheols point of view rather than the MCs. This could have been used to flesh out her character more rather than having her as the bland doormat. But these backstories are, at least to me right now, much more interesting than the actual present story, because their pacing is actually quite good and they explore the personality of the characters.

This feels like the Rashta hate. If you want one-dimensional villains just say that. If you can't deal with an author putting more thought into one, just drop the series.

Again the actual problem are not the Mincheol backstories. The problem is the shltty pacing on the actual present and rather bland main characters. Feels like the author thought out the past well, but is struggling to achieve a goal

... Ngl, this feels more like "My series got canceled, so we are ending it now and not leaving it open". Which is probably why it feels this shitty. This seemed to be set up for a tragic fight for his humanity (with him dying). Not her demise. It was such a breath of fresh air, that he was treated like a threat and problem the entire time and not romantized.

Fuck that, I guess.

They were cowards for not mentioning the scheme for her being "going after her father's favorite concubine" as well.

So, is this some kind of grand story? No. It's pretty fluffy and predictable. But I am sick and tired of folks just fucking complaining. No one is forcing you to read this. You have free will. I have stopped plenty of stories that bore me.

I craved fluffy, so this one is in my list. The art style is good, the story is solid, even if predictable, the part with the poisoning was even a bit vile. Not "One Husband is more than enough"-levels, but still kinda fucked up. So is the choking? Normally the "abusive" parent(s) just slap the child, the choking is a nice touch. I like the character design and I do appreciate that we stick a bit with her being heavily pregnant. Normally these stories just kinda skip that and go back skinny. But pregnant women get shit done is sweet.

Now, my assumption is that we clear daddys (bold, all caps) name, mom gets killed, daughter gets exiled, useless dude gets a non-deserved redemption by building his house back up maybe... even marry Blanc. Then we will have a war arc and Teri will be presumed dead for a minute, Sadie marries Alex (who could actually die for some drama, very unlikely tho) and she gets preganananant with his kiddo. Blanc has a son, so I assume this bun out the oven will be a daughter first and that a son will follow later (after dead Teri comes back from the war).

And it will end with the family on a picnic or some other fluffy meadow shot.

To the haters. See that as your summary and just leave. I want to see jokes about Teri doing mental gymnastics to get a smooch from his wife or that we still not have confirmation if it clicked for her that Teri rescued her. She was a bit confused be the reveal and pregnant brain might have made it slip

I like that she was given clothes that cover her up immediately. Not because I can't appreciate good badonkers and legs so hot u fry an egg, but because I think she deserves them after dealing with her shlthead brother's horrendous taste for so long
