I read many manga like this we're all the fl was very strong and intelligent mind but this one I find them very weak (if I we're her I would never call the majesty father or try to get on his good side. Ngl you would react the same way. The advantages of all those “strong female leads” had was that at least in their past life they had someone to count on. She had no one. Girl had to rebuild and mold everything by herself which I doubt you and I could do. Let’s also not forget she died as a teen in her first life. Girl was bound to make some mistakes along the way. She still sees the majesty as her father because even though she knew she wasn’t the real one, she spent literally all her life to please him that of course she would automatically try to reach for any source of love from him. We can say “she shouldn’t call him father.” But, from her perspective can you blame her?
I agree, the frustration was valid but if want to sound rational then put ourselves on character shoes first in the respective era mindset. A teen in Victoria era or maybe way back forced with this kind of problem? - First he told ml he was pregnant before but ML didn’t believe him
- Second he is hiding it now cause Angela’s custody could be at risk. If by law MC would win but Campbells are rich and they have been manipulating the laws to be in their favors take Gordon for example that bitch is a walking criminal but he wasn’t arrested at all and Harold too
- Third the mother might kill Angela or hurt her if proven she is ML’s child that bitch hate MC and would definitely hurt the kid
Also MC tried multiple times to initiate to explain but ML is close minded about it cause he saw it personally. It’s like talking to a wall and tbh Mc has a lot on his plate to worry off already
