i should’ve let this to marinate but i’m too invested. my bet on why they switched back so suddenly is bcus ouri was getting close to the truth of ibuki’s feelings towards himeri and the rain is just a red herring. like, this all started with the twin’s dissatisfaction with each other as well as harbouring secrets with their own crush about their feelings towards them. this is just my opinion but i can’t wait to see the next rain scene and see if they do actually switch again or it’s truly bcus of my theory
