I think heās a sociopath. He doesnāt understand human emotion, so thatās why he becomes enamored with ML and his expressions. He himself doesnāt experience it nor does he understand it. I think thatās why he became obsessed after ML left him because he finally understood and loved him back in his own way as closely as he could to the emotion. But thatās my take and understanding.
Heās not a sociopath because he does feel emotions, he just has trouble empathizing and recognizing those emotions as emotions which is actually a common trait amongst autistic people
I canāt remember the moments he did feel emotion. Itās been such a hot minute since Iāve read the whole thing cohesively, I only remember the abrasive parts of his reactions to things.
