Simpler times when folks didn’t have itchy fingers to post shite all over the place for a little attention. I miss the days when keeping a secret was easier. The only thing that broke our hearts in the past was when the work got licensed and had to be dropped — not nearly half the drama that’s come to mgg’s doorstep since of late.

I've been on this site for a while and its only been recently that the site has been under this much fire. People who talk about it on twt, tiktok, and post on instagram make it real easy for the authors to see and find out the site. Before it was just a post about illegal translations, but now the site name is being blasted.

True. There are some people who often misunderstood that this is a legal site lol coz if you search a certain work what always pop up are those from popular illegal sites.

Lmao.There are even those who message the author themselves and expose fan translations thinking that they are the translators. Them and their smol brains, ┻┻︵¯(ツ)/¯︵┻┻

And it’s the last “legit” site with almost every title out there. I’m surprised it’s still up and running tbh. I think there should be a legal aggregate site archiving all the types of manga/manhwa etc. out there. Like a crunchyroll that has a monthly subscription fee. That’d solve the problem tbh.

I actually don’t think so yknow. Consider Amazon Prime Reading, it’s really not too expensive. Perhaps only exclusive titles would attract a cost, but I really don’t think it’d be too bad.

People are on this site because they either don't want to pay or can't. I read on the legal sites and buy ink or coins when I can but there are titles that aren't in english. The authors doing webtoons are the ones finding the site, as their works are the ones getting popular here. Compared to before where it was purely manga where each page was scanned manualy.

and because of the list system. it makes finding other webtoons and mangas to read easier so there’s more user engagement and gets ppl to stay on the site more
