Why is it that people who crave love never receive it? Like the more you reach out to people the more they pull away and even find you annoying. I’m lucky to have my family but connecting with people is so hard. I’ve learned to accept being okay with being alone. I think this is why this story has stuck with me. The guy was so starved for that one shred of kindness that he took him by force. Obviously, in real life we would call the police but as a work of fiction the feelings are portrayed so clearly for me.. I appreciate the author for that.
You know, I grew up with a lot of boy cousins. I always thought it was normal for boys to be pervs. So I didn’t find Rudeus personality particularly awful. Are people mad because of his mental age from his previous life? Just checking. Also, I’m not too hung up about the many wives. Monogamy is more of a social constraint and if Sylphiette agrees then I see no problem. Good for them.
Its funny they are so hung up on his "actual age" when you have a genuine actual psychologist on youtube analyizing and reacting to the series in incredible depth and he quite clearly and directly states that the main character is not a pedophile. Great youtube channel btw highly recommend. Its called psyculturists. While tiring, its still pretty funny to see all these people with pitchforks whining all day and night over problematic media or characters. Only to be in complete shock when professional psychologists disagree with them
I hate that Minjo had to pick between two evils. Yeah, Chu Gio might actually have feelings for him, but it’s too twisted for me to be able to call it love. The sexual harassment was not welcome. Even if Minjo eventually gave in to the dirty talk it still left a bad impression. Overall, sad about the development.

Anyone willing to share a link to the novel? Specifically the birthday chapters ??
