This story just kind of feels overambitious. Like the author has a lot of very interesting ideas but it's so dense that it kind of goes white noise at times. Like it relies too much on exposition and flashbacks to the point that it's difficult to actually keep up with the present day narrative. It's all well thought out but it's not planned out very well. I still enjoy it but my eyes just glaze over at parts.

the first two chapters knocked it out of the park and then the next two is like if someone with a suicide vest attacked the stadium
