When my classmates used to compliment darker skinned girls "black beauty" Legit had me so confusedddd... I kept asking them "wdym by that?" and it's like empty up there. Granted, they r kids who would just say the same sht whatever adults say, but man it does suck to develop critical thinking skills early as a child lol So freaking backhanded tho
