I'll try to keep it vague in case you don't want spoilers but she's been in her character development era for quite some time. There's been a lot of drama but she's been taking action and actively trying to get stronger in all aspects of her life. The communication between the couple has improved (SPOILER ALERT) and Riftan finally knows about how her family really treated her. But now there's other issues they need to work on. As of now, Riftan is the one that needs to work on himself.
Maxie's character has really come a long way. She's a badass...Riftan, however, has sadly regressed overall as a character. Still worth reading though

Honestly. Riftan is too possessive and overprotective. He ignores Maxie's wishes all the time for what he thinks she needs without listening to her. He can be borderline cruel to her(verbally) sometimes whenever she goes against him and then does the whole toxic silent treatment thing. Maxie has come a long way, shes strong, powerful, resilient, smart and courageous and she always considers Riftans feelings first. Wheras Riftan, really only considers his feelings, like he loves Maxie but he underestimates her and will disregard/disrespect her if her wishes dont align with his wishes. He has a kinda sad backstory so I am not saying he doesnt have a reason for being the way he is but he better hit some character development SOON or the entire fan base is just gonna write him off as a lost cause.
He's too insecure about his humble status and the fact that he's not noble born. Which makes him blindsided when it comes to understanding why Maxi doesn't really care about those things which makes their communication hit a wall every time. Also he idolizes Maxi to the point where he doesn't see the real her. He's the one creating a wall between them.
Anybody who has a red and the novel tell me what’s going to happen at the end, like I hear it’s a tragic story and she ends up dying like how did she die? How about everybody else in the store? What happens to them? Is it true that the manwha we’ll get a happier ending than a novel,

I don’t rlly remember who she died but she will get crippled and the ML marries her the problem with him is he can’t express his love for her through words his actions r all to protect her and she gets pregnant with their son but he dies pre maturely and I think her body weakens to bear another and she raised a wolf pup which also dies and leaves a huge impact on her life,and as foe her step brother he is sick asf and is in love with his step mom +he was the one who hired the doctor to fail her baby so i lowkey say don’t read it if u don’t Eloy enjoy this I read the novel and quit immediately and also there r some scenes where she almost gets SA by older man and other uncomfortable moments with some other males

Guys if you are reading expecting the bare minimum of a happy ending, don't torture yourself. This shit it's just suffering until the end, you will only feel bad, I felt so overwhelming with sadness and disgust while reading this novel that I got a panic attack when I read the lasp published chapter, jujutsu kaisen feels like a happy history compared to this shit. She turns so broken in the end that a cried for HOURS and hours

It started like a typical regression game like sequence, nothing really new, but decent mid quality read, then later on it started to become like Omnicient Reader VIewpoint, but just half it's standard. It's okay at most. It has some issues, but I did stay till ch 132 before dropping so it was bearable.

I am hoping Ash isn’t a bad guy, but I feel like he might have some red flags in the future and I’m hearing other people saying that they don’t talk that you don’t really have a connection. Is that true? I know I should just continue but I honestly can’t if it’s gonna be like that.. there is love in the story right it’s not just gonna be mostly Kyle? I have a feeling that they probably both like each other but for some reason they’re pulling apart or if they think the other feels one way when the other doesn’t. Or maybe Ash is just fucking with his feelings, even after knowing that he doesn’t really know how to communicate well. Apparently, in a novel, he’s a dick.
In all honestly and in my opinion, this is one of my all time favorite BLs. I definitely think it’s worth the read, but I do admit it can be a bit of a struggle to read in the beginning (I lowkey didn’t like it at first), but I came back to it and OMGOSH this is actually so freakin good. Even though, yes, there was miscommunication at a point later in the story where it was lowkey dreading since they were so close to finally being able to be together for real, but it honestly wasn’t that bad (it wasn’t too dragged out, personally). It was a bit heartbreaking, but it’s def worth reading until the end. Their get together is adorable and I’m so sad it ended, so overall, yes, I personally and definitely recommend it! (Also who the hell said they didn’t have a connection??? wtf they must be reading with their eyes and brain shut off) And NO, Ash is not a bad guy, not necessarily a red flag. He’s green, but he may have a few yellow flag traits like uhm… possession lmfao but honestly I saw no problem other than the fact, it took him awhile to realize his feelings (he’s a bit of a dumbass there), but their reunion was adorable and so definitely worth it. Trust me, THEYRE SO CUTE AND THEY HAVE A LOVING CONNECTION. One more thing, I haven’t read the novel (I did read some spoilers), but tbh I think he’s a bit different compared to the novel as some things weren’t stated in the manhwa so honestly, idk but they’re cute as shit here and that’s what matters to me anyway since I don’t read novels SO BASICALLY, YES, PLEASE FINISH IT!! I hope you’ll love it as much as I do, and if you don’t, well, uhm idk LOL
(Since ur on chap 19, nothing bad necessarily happens early on, it’s js that one thing but it’s way later, anyway if u alr like it then i feel like u’ll love it at the end of it!)

Umm the best way too describe him romantically is he's like maomao, but more wholesome and less calculative. We know he actually likes ameri because of some chapters but he himself haven't really realized his feelings yet, tbh I don't think you would get frustrated to that since the story is great to the point you're too focus to it than the actual romance, since the romance is pretty much just a side thing. And about his powers, first for context, this manga is an alternative universe where he is a mafia boss, but there's an og manga that currently sits in 300+ chapters and there he's a human adopted by a demon grandpa and sent to a demon school.anyways in this manga at first he does not really have the understanding of his position but as the story progressed he realizes how important it is and how dangerous it can be for him and eveyone he loves, but in the OG manga, he does not have a power, but when the character development comes around he is aware enough to it but he doesn't really think of himself that much to think of himself as someone deserving of the rank that's given to him. This alternative universe is great but i suggest if you want more content and more context and be more aware of Easter eggs in this AU you should read the OG manga first. The name is "Mairimashita! Iruma-kun" ( don't forget the exclamation man! ) and then read this, but it's okay to read this first too it's your choice

Yes! I've read the manga and he is a little bit unaware of how powerful he is, in terms of connections because he is tied around pretty powerful people, he just doesn't realize it. But in terms of power, i would say he's great but he's not one of those OP Mc's who could wipe out a group of people or a powerful monster in one fell swoop, its a little hard to explain how exactly but he's not Too weak nor too strong, he still needs help but he's not completely hopeless when there's trouble. Best way i could explain him is that he's really charming and kindhearted, really stupidly kindhearted and that's kinda his number one weakness and the manga is very clear of stating that lol as the story progressed he is actively learning to set boundaries with people.
And about the "other personality" you're talking about, Its a spoiler and it will happen later on the manga but there's this thing called evil cycle in the demon world, it's where a demon is actively more aggressive and violent than normal, Obviously because Mc is human he doesn't have one but A magic in the ring he has ( which has its own consciousness ) turn him into something similar with someone on evil cycle, which made him a completely opposite of his personality, he was more cooler and charming, than wholesome, and i think that's what people are talking about, i could be wrong
