But maybe we will find out what he is. Googled if there is any connection to the moon in Sisyphus myths.
The Solar/Lunar Nature Myth Theory
In 19th-century "nature mythology" studies, scholars like Sir James George Frazer and others analyzed ancient punishments as allegories for natural cycles.
The Waxing and Waning: Sisyphus pushing the stone up the hill mirrors the moon growing to full capacity (waxing).
The New Moon: The inevitable rolling back down of the boulder to the bottom represents the moon fading away completely (waning/the new moon phase), only for the cyclical process to immediately begin again.
So maybe Guwon is the weakiest during the full moon, it's when the boulder rolls back.
Also, according to the myths, Sisyphus is in Tartarus with his boulder punishment. So logicly the world in the manhwa is Tartarus, the underworld, ultimate cosmic prison for cosmic threats, fallen gods, and mortals who committed unforgivable crimes against the gods. I think it explaines why Teach is so confused, maybe it's his punishment, he thinks he is in the real world, he remembers his parents and he has memories of being blamed for something (his nightmares). Also some titbits about Sisyphus's wife Merope:
Merope is best known as one of the seven Pleiades, the daughter of Atlas and Pleione, who married the mortal king Sisyphus. Sisyphus used Merope in a clever plan to cheat death. Sisyphus explicitly commanded Merope to throw his corpse into the public square and refuse to give him any sacred funeral rites or burial offerings. When he reached the Underworld, Sisyphus falsely claimed that Merope's neglect was a disrespect to the gods of the dead. He successfully begged to be sent back to the mortal world for three days solely to "punish" her. Once he returned to Earth, he refused to go back to the Underworld. Merope took the blame to help her husband successfully trick the gods.
I have a theory regarding all of that too.
We all assume that Guwon is the Sisyphus, but what if it’s the Teach? What if all of this — his own punishment, for refusing to die? Thus the nightmares where he is blamed, thus the fact everyone is weirded out. As well as the fact that it is kind of written throughout the entirety of the plot, that Teach is regretful about surviving. Also, if we go by the idea of Merope being one of the 7 Pleiadas — that would explain Guwon’s hounds (i believe there are 7 with Guwon?)
That would also explain his own last words about carrying their own burden, thus, wanting to get rid of Guwon.
Could it be that Teach is the Sisyphus?
And why did Guwon say that Teach tried killing him several times now?
Like, if Guwon was the Sisyphus — he wouldn’t have accepted his hypothetical death this easily, right?
Maybe the entire town is Sisyphus? Not wanting to die to the point of deception and rebellion.
Either way, I’m so interested in the ending. They have soooo many ways to flop with all the mind games they have build, it’s scary lol

It looks like Nanjo reaaaally hates Mokyeon, I see no possible future for them... But bl authors always find a way for the doomed relationship to continue somehow. These reasons are almost always shitty ones. Like in Toxin, 'you killed my mother but I still love your dick' ending was a choice.

The plot is really odd. Characters behave strangely, feels like a fever dream. I'll keep reading but something about this feels wrong.

You can’t use real world logic in fiction bro. They usually show the characters wearing condoms or imply that they do too. I have yet to read this but I’m about to. Just wanted to see the general consensus first
