Why is everyone acting scandalized about the age gap when:
1) this is a historical manga, the fact that there's a timeskip where she's 18 and she doesn't end up marrying a man twice her age in a loveless marriage is a positive. It's already rare that historical yuri mangas have a happy ending where the heroines stay with each other.
2) there are worse tropes in other genres like BL and HL that no one bats an eye at like rape, shotacon/lolicon, violence.etc but the moment something taboo happens in yuri its too much??
3) it's fictional. If you can't differentiate between the two and let it affect your reality that's your problem lmao. Don't like don't read.

If you have any interest in the anime/manga only or unable to access the lightnovel, avoid apothecary diaries content from tiktok like the plague because the place is rife with LN spoilers that are untagged and inconspicuous for clout. Major plot points has been ruined for me because of "normal" anime edits that threw in a MASSIVE spoiler in the last 2 seconds of it (╬￣皿￣)

seeing the massive artstyle change between the first book and second book was really heartbreaking. It really reflected the author's current mental state and the scene where she didnt want to be forgotten made me burst into tears. The author's thoughts and feelings really hit close to home, such a painful but wonderful read T_T

if i have to hear the words "Toman has changed" or "Mikey has changed" one more time ill go apeshit

Im not one to dislike female characters but Azuma.. the way she keeps getting into conflict is making my blood boil. she just waltzes herself into horrible situations and never learns from her mistakes whatsoever. it seems like at some point shes gonna end up "saving" the mc or some other cliche shit and it just ruins the potential this manga had. i just hope she at least grows a pair of balls and stops acting ditzy around the mc or she gets some sort of redemption arc where she snaps.

It's so painfully obvious that the ML is a self insert.. what a shame, this manhwa had a great concept but ML ruined it for me :/

AAAA im so glad this finally updated! This is one of my favourite slice of life mangas and the story brings so much joy to me! I was worried that the series was dropped entirely but I'm happy it's back! ლ(´∇`ლ)
