I mean, yeah i dont blame ml for this unrequited love. Hey but i like you as friends so lets stay like this'. Yknow? Kinda made want to punch him for this. Thats why i hope mc doesnt treated as 'one of those pathetic for love' characters by author. I really hope so.

So i looked for novel but couldnt find it free. So annoyed that now i have to wait ://. I really really hope mc gets his own life.its so sad to see him treated like npc like three-friends group.

the servent probably see more chemistry between maxi and ruth rather then with riftan so probably more worried about her masters relationship

I mean, i personally dont ship them and yes, Ruth cares about himself more and Riftan protects her but how dumb they have to be to ignore how much Ruths advice or education helped her? Like, girl, this wizard helped your master more than anyone. Characters like these are so annoying.

I think it’s because he doesn’t hold any punches towards the lady of the castle and treats her as a friend more than he should. He’s curt and a little rude to Maxi and even worked her a lot harder than she anticipated when they were working on that magical item together.

Yes, it makes sense. Its 'royalty' stuff but its really annoying and unfair.

Is there any webtoon (preferably fantasy) story that actually adress the class system..maybe its just me but i really dislike unfairness.

Not that I’ve read and personally I don’t mind it. I mean it’s like historical fantasy so they have to have rules and cultural aspects of the past to be believable in their portrayal of a social system from the past. This is also such a minor detail in this manhwa it’s not like anything is going to happen because the maid doesn’t really like Ruth. It’s not like Maxi dislikes Ruth because her maid doesn’t like him.

If we are talking about 'realism', then servant would also judge knights too. Ruth is important wizard, and she is 'mere servant'. In my opinion, i dont see the realism in this kind of stories. Its like, authors only pull 'realistic' part when they want to but somehow, when unrealistic part exist, 'its just fantasy'. And regardless of whether its realistic or not, that doesnt change the fact that it is unfair and annoying.

Literally helped her through all her struggles while all riftan did was yell at her and be rude….. he makes me hate him so much literally no character development whatsoever while maxi is trying her best. Wish she could slap some sense into him

Yeah Ruth helped her so much in her developments from learning about finances, finding her vocation in magic, her speech and overall giving her confidence.

He literally treated her person, unlike other who just look down on her or treat her as fragile. His approach was so refreshing and healing for her, and it eventually helped her to build up her self worth and pretty much everything lol.

If you read many yaois, you will see 'dominant bottom x passive top' thing isnt rare anymore. Maybe in the past but there are too much of this trope now. My problem isnt that. I just hate that authors or artists always draw tops bodies bigger than bottom. Its always the bigger body is top. And no, there are many dominant bottom so thats not true.

Sure, It's not extremely rare nowadays. However, dom tops are still more popular AND common in widespred media.
Yeah, creators may add a couple scenes in their stories (that have the submissive uke x dominant/bigger seme dynamic) in which, the sub uke turns around and acts dominant... but normally thats only for a chapter or two. And then they'll turn it around again.

I personally agree w the other person. I also think them not switching is such a pleasure for the fact that we dont see that trope as often. Dom ukes are fucking hot and the way he manhandles the shit out of his seme is sexy asf wwwww

Also i love dom bottom but in the way people want them to be. I just love a person who can stand up for themselves. Not bossing around their lover. And again, like it wrote in my comment, that wasnt my issue. I also didnt dislike the series. I just think the whole 'who is top' thing is ruining the story for me.
