I've started rereading this yesterday and caught up to the latest release today This is also the part where I stopped reading the novel last year. I really want to see how the artist will draw the scene where the Empress knew she was defeated... What her face would look like, how will Astana react and what aill happen to him... And how will the ascension of Perez will play out and what will the MCs do with their relationship.
Rereading this masterpiece hoping that it will be just few chapters left til its finale. I'm at ch 72 and that's when you'll see how Perez solidified his stance as Tia's no. 1 supporter. He'll literally kiss the ground she walked on. Delivering the Bomnia flowers like a dark knight in shining armor is just nothing short of perfect.
So from what I remember, the ending isn't far off but might take a few months still coz of update schedule haha
Currently at ch. 40... The FL really laid out to the emperor that she can give him the world on a silver platter I get bored with op lead characters but thankfully the author made the FL vile and vindictive. She doesn't just get even, she goes for the kill. As for the emperor, he's just a supporting character atp
Now at ch115... This is too formulaic.
The cyclical tropes being the FL is always the mastermind.
She always save those who are suffering from being exploited (she was one from her previous life).
Her family is plainly stupid and always shouting nonsensical arguments. Nicola is freaking annoying.
ML is just a supporting character. Barely lift a finger. At least he kinda yearns and he's softening up to the FL.
Sing is a cute baby.
And whatever the conflict is it is resolved by FL conveniently because of her gathered intel from her previous life. And even if the FL changed all the outcomes in favor of Chariot, the sequence of events is not affected. It still follows the chronology from her previous life (talk about plot armor and narrative convenience)
The only saving grace for me is that the FL loves revenge and doesn't half ass it.
Yep. I've read the novel and it's way graphic than the manhwa (which by the way has divine art)... The visceral descriptions was The story was short, kinky and angst free.
Calling this romance is a stretch. Demented FL and a worse mentally unstable but pragmatic ML, what could go wrong? Everything Every once in a while I read this type of stories as palette cleanser from the overdone tropes.
When Seojin said "I'll be the only flaw in your otherwise perfect life, Taehyun" that line goes hard. Sounds sweet but can also be toxic I imagine this line on a dark romance novel.
