(and even though I love morally grey characters and red flags tops myself, I do find it uncomfortable when they're portrayed like himbos/or have golden retriever personalities but then proceed to constantly coerce/ rape the bottom like huh)
Well said. I also feel like the placement of that Mokyeon backstory is a little unfortunate... Like, after months of waiting for season 2, the first 2 chapters focus on how much he suffered and how love-starved he is, and like... Yeah it's interesting and does explain the patterns of his behavior..? But now quite a lot of people hyperfocus on this and get mad at other characters for reacting appropriately to the VERY SHITTY things he just did in the present, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth
This story has potential and I love messy relationships, but a sad backstory shouldn't negate the valid reaction Nanjo had (and Nanjo isn't even aware of said backstory!!). Mokyeon is not a poor little puppy beaten up for no reason... Anyway
