When youve endured treatment like this and been "level headed". Parents tend to treat you as mature and use that to guilt trip you to behave because they know that you will, and your sibling(s) wont. So while you repress all the emotions you have about it, your sibling(s) are able to comtinue this behaviour. Which when you finally give up makes them see you as a problem
