This is actually good? I wasn't expecting much bc the rating is 9.1, but the story and characters are good.
I really like the ML. He's kindhearted and patient towards not just the MC but his people too.
I also like how they're progressing on the FL's trauma and personality. I actually really LOVE her personality. She's so smart, but her social cues and ability to read the room are horrible. It makes me feel bad for her, but I also can't help but like that about her. And I read the spoilers, thank god the author didn't reduce her trauma to sexual abuse/harassment. Idk if this sounds insensitive, but it feels like it's an overused troupe; for the MC to have been raped and then she refuses touch until a "special" man comes to rescue her. That in itself feels exploitive and insensitive to real victims.
Oh and also, I hate the 2nd ML (if that blonde guy is even an ML to begin with). He bullied her and talked shit behind her back just to realize that he actually likes her, and the only reason he picked on her was because he wanted her attention. It sounds like when a mother tells their daughter that the boy her age only bullies her because he likes her. It's bullshit. I hate those troupes the most. The 2nd ML is childish in that way, he doesn't deserve the MC.

I'm re-reading this, and I'm like 10 chapters in, but I just have one complaint.
The story makes me sympathize with the MC's dad, and I really do, but also he's a grown ass man. And I understand that this isn't modern times, and he wouldn't have been so exposed to how fatherhood/taking care of a child works, but also you have a child whom you took responsibility for when you took her off the streets, and then you just abandoned her and leave her to fend for herself? In a place where you know parents are trying to get their kids to be the next hair of the clan?
You gotta be stupid, naive, or both to do something like that. And then be surprised when you find out that your daughter, a kid with no talent in martial arts that's living a place where martial arts is life, is being harassed and disrespected by the servants and your other family members.
And that just doesn't sit right with me, because look where that got you in the first life? And now that your daughter is given a second chance, she has to pick up the pieces and make up for your slack.
And I just feel so bad for the MC in her past life. Obviously she acted up, why do think troubled kids always come from a neglectful/abusive environment? She grew up with servants taunting her, harassing her, not doing their job. She grew up with an absent father who did his best in the shadows. She grew up believing no cared or loved her, and every adult who just stood by took part in it too because they let that shit happen. Of course she was gonna turn out the way she did.

Fr not even one who was by her side at the darkest time. If I was her I would have a hard time depending on anyone completely and would try to be independant as soon as possible cause even if u try to pretend everything is ok your body subconsciously never relaxes cause it feels no security
