So many readers genuinely didn't see this coming and in a completely nonjudgemental way "howww?". Fully expected this at some point, based on things he'd say in the first few chps.
Honestly it's been quite well done... the author took a different route with a trope that is overused, usually in poor taste and imo very boring.
Clearly their approach worked in subverting expectations, because alot of people are in complete shock T_T.
Also ik its crazy to say but to be completely honest Taeshin's obsessed is so freakin gentle, he's genuinely saying "im gonna love you so fucking much" therefore you cannot leave me,, it's a questionable but freshish take on the "possessive boyfriend" note how he's doing all of this but there’s no violence, the lighting never changes. It's still fricking sunlight and cherry blossoms lmaooo.
I know, right? Wonwoo is so determined to do everything the hard way, to his own clear detriment, and Taeshin has tried his best to understand, despite his own past trauma, the fact that it took this long before he snapped was impressive and shows a lot of self-control before now
heavy on the last part!!! i wish there were more stories that took darker tropes and subverted them with sunshine like this. like, sometimes a girl wants to read about obsessive love but not have it be absolutely traumatizing, you know? lol
Yeah like I’m gonna be honest it really comes down to a lack of critical thought. Like the author wasn’t subtle about it and Wonwoo’s inner monologue has even hinted at this multiple times.
Taeshin is a true true Yandere. He’s obsessively in love to the point that he’s become sick from it. I’m living for it tbh, I love a by-the-book Yandere and as long as he doesn’t end up abusing or raping Wonwoo in the coming chapters I think this will be pretty great.
This manga genuinely has such, an insidious undertone. It's actual horror, body horror, gore, psychosis, I'm scared, I've never read/watched something and been genuinely afraid of the depictions... disgusted for sure, uncomfortable definitely, but never scared. I've read so many so called "psychological" works but this takes the cake, the tonal setting at the beggining of each chapter, the MC's distorted and hijacked POVs, the morphed character designs, i want to puke, or cry... who knows. I cant stop reading though. I can't.

Hell yes, this is what I needed, love everything about this manga, the art is so great, the way the little crashouts are drawn, bulging eyes, evryone just turning into oval shapped scribbles I laughed so freaking hard
These reformed idiot tops are always insane,,, hope he gets sentenced to life imprisonment as Kim Dan's man who waits on him hand, foot and ass.
I need Doyeon and the flight attendant to become an item, this needs to be the side couple... but I lk don't see it happening he's not drawn with alot of intention and sadly that likely means he won't have a lasting role in the story.... sigh there is one other way he could become a staple but don't see it happening.
