i lowk wanted hamin to leave sehyuk for a decent amount of time, and not forgive him after the rape chapter. i really wanted sehyuk to feel regretful and have that moment where he realises he cant just drag hamin around and do whatever he wants.
ik he had a brief scene like that when mr yun said that hamin’ll get tired if sehyuk keeps messing around like that, but i really really wanted a more impactful scene.
kinda unrealistic for sehyuk’s character but i had hoped we would get to see sehyuk reflecting on himself and realising that hamin is his own person, and that he can leave sehyuk if he really wanted to.

i actually read a few chapters of desire me if you can before i read this lmao desire me if you can is what made me hate long haired brother. i hated how he didn’t care for any of the people he dated, i hated how he doesn’t seem apologetic for anything, i still hate his personality/archetype, and reading kmiyc has just further fuelled my anger for this character.
i legit dropped dmiyc cuz i didn’t want to see long haired brother find his ‘true love’, since i actually sorta liked the ml in dmiyc based off of the comments and his design.

I think he gradually started liking him before that but didn’t want to admit it because he didn’t trust Josh. I think that night and how Josh treated him then lead him to trust him. Saving his hide, keeping him comfortable and backing down from a failed rizz attempt showed him that he could trust him and I think the flood gates kinda broke lol

See the pacing is very short compared to the novel that you also wouldn't get it first how come they suddenly have feelings for each other. I think Chase started to take interest on Josh the moment they met (again) because no one ever stood up to him like that, and also as ridiculous as it sounds it's been months already since they have been in their job as security for Chase so there were moments that Chase and Josh interacted in between those that made him like Josh (like not beinbgn afraid to kick his ass just because he's a dominant alpha, Josh doesn't treat him like an exotic animal being rare because of his secondary gender, Josh also cares for Chase more than the others do, Josh also does not hesitate to stand up for Chase, and I think it dawn on him all over with the Coyote incident where he had a realization that someone is really out there to protect him and don't get greedy to ask for something more when he says no, someone who'll finally not call him weird (seeing that he often let's his emotions show when he's around Joshua) so yeah that was my observation from the novel to the manga and for why Josh liked Chase? He likes his face HAHAHAHAHAH of course that was the only reason at first but in the long run he finally gets why Chase is like that and he understood and finally see who Chase really is (●'◡'●)ﾉ
