I think the uke being someone so open minded and light hearted person also helps paint the seme as more green than other bl’s with toxic tops where the uke ends up being a coward or a brat or in debt etc and rlly extreme in general. i rlly like that the uke is easygoing, teasy and calm person if you get what i mean. Their dynamic is nice.

That's my issue with these sorts of stories as well.
I'm fine if the characters slowly really fall for the other but most of these setups are just fuck buddies having the weird idea that they should call themselves a couple. It's just weird and nonsensical.
