I thought Heonjae attempting to kill Jingi would be a huge climax within the story. I expected a more emotional scene. One were Jingi is, finally, truly honest with Heonjae about his past and their mom’s death. I thought it would all build up to Heonjae realizing how much Jingi loves him. Instead we get this bullshit where Myeong-il is being portrayed as a wannabe hero, when all he’s really being is a hero of second-hand embarrassment
Every time the uncle comes into frame I get anxiety. His character being a well known and successful man is so realistic. Every time I think about Jingi, someone with less power because he is a prisoner, having to face his uncle, a man with so much power; I get so worried about Jingi it becomes hard to read.
My prediction for the next chapters:
I hope Heonjae second guesses himself, but I predict he’ll go through with it. When Jingi is laying in a pool of blood, with Heonjae watching as he dies, Jingi will either finally tell Heonjae that their mom has died, or that he loves Heonjae. Heonjae will then regret his act.
