The only thing that lowkey annoys me about some (not all) of the people reading this is that they're treating Kihyun that he actually committed crimes against her or something?

Yes, he absolutely was a jerk to her and hurt her feelings many times, but if the tables were turned and Gaon was the FL instead people would call Doyoung creepy and Kihyun a greenflag/yearner who's treated her (Doyoung) exactly how people would expect him to treat anyone trying to rival the female lead. None of you would treat someone getting in the way of your relationship or in any way connected to the most traumatic experiences of your life like they're made of flowers and candy.

The entire point of their high school arc was to establish that nobody in the situation, be it Gaon Kihyun or Doyoung, was right or wrong. They were kids who were all too caught up in their own feelings and expectations.

Yeah i completely agree with you. Honestly i didn't liked story that much but now I'm excited for new chapters. They were both pathetic in past but I hope they got some real character development. And i really hope FL isn't some inexperienced fool anymore, and I hope she dated and isn't some typical I've waited type shit FL. Even i was so dumb and introverted when I was 18 and now I'm 20 but I can say I changed so much in these 2 years so i hope in 9 years she got much better (unlike operation true love when even after 10 years passed away and they're all adults they became more childish. That author literally ruined that manhwa)

Yes! I honestly love that their younger years were more awkward and pathetic, it has an almost realistic charm for a very unrealistic situation. And I also love that they are very clearly adults now.

I couldn't even finish this chapter what the hell "smell like a baby" "even if they're called cradle robbers" "I'm a grown-up too...I just keep forgetting" "I guess I'm just gonna have to keep being a cradle robber, aren't I?"
That is absolutely disgusting.

Well that escalated

This feels like it's going at 5x speed but the plot is only 5% there

It feels like he likes that he has FL as a back up more than anything. Like he doesn't like her, but likes that he has her the way he does. :/

I personally think that what's ruining the slow burn and progress of this story is that so many of these chapters are happening in the SAME DAYS. Very little time has actually passed in this story (Haesoo was introduced as 33, now 34... it's been a maximum ≤2 years).
With only a year or so gone by, who in their right mind would expect Haesoo to have healed after such a long marriage, and everything she's been through? Who would expect her to be comfortable with the gap between them, or even jumping into another relationship so quickly in the first place? And even with Taeha, she hasn't had any real support during all this.
The pacing makes it feel like it's been forever when it hasn't.
It's taking 5+ chapters for a single event, and it's watering down the intensity and depth of it all.

Secondly, we're getting more insight into our side characters and antagonists than we are our main couple. We know so much about Mincheol, but what do we know about Taeha? He's being put aside and turned into your every-other-story male lead. A main character shouldn't be kept this mysterious and in the dark for nearly 110 chapters. The chemistry between He, Haesoo, and the reader(s) is very quickly fizzling out.

And, in my *opinion*, the conflicts happening in this story all seem... underdeveloped, as well.
(Referring to the Taehee incident) Why turn Taeha into an overused superhuman who just had to save the day? That entire event, including the sex with other peoples BLOOD on them (Diseases, anybody?), reminded me of those old western action movie scenes.

How come good things only come to Haesoo when Taeha makes it happen? Why is she being tossed back and forth between being experienced and naive?

I'm not saying it's not enjoyable, and this is all just my *opinion*, but I wish the creator stayed on track with the idea in the beginning instead of sending us in loops.

Can someone tell me what this is about before I read it/add it to my list?

I know he do but Josh never looks like he's enjoying it
