I kinda like that that coworker pointed our how strange it'd be to call a 34 year old auntie, poor woman has been convinced she's too old for too long :(

I get it's been implied he actually liked/wanted what was happening to him from the start, but it feels like the chapter just kind of exists to make FL look less bad. "Oh look he actually wanted her to abuse him, so lets ignore the fact he's being drugged and assaulted by every woman in this series so far with no consent seen whatsoever."
His behavior is so clearly developed from trauma. When you're abused essentially your whole life, the only thing you expect from others or even look forward to is more abuse until you can pull away and heal.
Imagine seeing a woman being passed between father and son, taken to parties to be drugged and "shared" with friends, assaulted by a grimy gardener, and mistreated wherever she goes. It is exactly that.

The only person speaking facts, most of this people would always be crying Stockholm syndrome, when stories makes female characters fall in love with their abuser. but now "he is right were he wants to be" lol

    lily May 27, 2026 2:22 am

Exactly! I dont understand how anyone can come to the conclusion that hes just some masochist who wants to get abused real bad and not see the power dynamics the mother and rosa have over him. In my eyes this story lives on the thin line between non-con and Dub-con because he literally has zero control over what actually happens around him.

I get where you're coming from, but I think you are oversimplifying his character. He was in a normal orphanage and was even adopted in some point, so saying he was abused his whole life after reading that he worked in the whorehouse for six months is a bit of a stretch, more thinking that he did whatever he wanted to not fuck a woman and wasn't killed for it. Second, he knows his worth; he knows he is handsome, stronger than Rosa and has enough technique to fuck her into submission, he did it already. And, honestly, he could easily kill both of them and get away.
Why then? Because this is exactly what he wants! His debts are paid, and two amazing and stable women are fighting over him and practically destroying their relationship over his company. Proving in the process that, he is not only worthy of love, but also someone valuable enough to make Ros obsess over him. That's why he is always following her around; going far enough to follow her probably boyfriend outside (something he wouldn't do if he was so "submissive" and traumatized like you think) to tell him she is cheating on him.
Is this a response to trauma? Yeah, he has a twisted sense of love. But he isn't naive or a victim since he walked into that home, he is doing what he wants and can to destroy Rosa.

I feel like I overused "abuse" when I said that, I apologize. I also meant emotional and mental toil as well. Even just being in an orphanage at all causes a great deal of problems for some people, then you stack everything else on... And no, I would in no world imagine he "wanted" to be drugged, or assaulted by that gardener, if what he does is for his "love" of FL... That event could traumatize anyone even if for a short while. He is also more afraid of being alone than he is of whatever those two women do with him.
I'm not necessarily calling him naive, I'm simply stating that what he has been through is certainly driving a lot of the decisions he's making.
Let's not forget he met these two as a CHILD.

And aside from ML's mind and behavior, whether he wanted to or not does not matter towards FL's actions because, as we've seen, her believing he DOESN'T want it was her motivation to do more in the first place. She didn't like it with her friend because her friend actually gave consent and didn't need to be "tamed".

Yes! It's like... sure, maybe he wants what rosa specifically does to him. But he certainly didn't want to be drugged, and he certainly didn't want to be shared with Rosa's mom's friends (had it happened), and he certainly didn't want that gardeners hands on him. And he doesn't deserve to be treated like a whore by everyone that could possibly exist in the story.
And even then, him wanting it is no defense for Rosa because she's been doing this thinking he DOESN'T want it. That's exactly what made her like it so much compared to with her friend - unlike ML, he wanted it and clearly consented. She liked the idea of actually forcing that "dominance" over him. Whether that starts changing with her or not is irrelavent.

Exactly! It's insane that people think Rosa's behavior is "hot" or "dom"... No. She's abusing him.
This is another case of "They only get away with it because they're attractive"

Jet May 26, 2026 12:58 am

Owwwww I only read the side stories, I'm too weak for this. I can'ttttt.... how could something in black in white have been so colorful, this is gonna bring my dreams back
