just made it to chapter 38, this story is dry af. This is labeled as smut, but the more interesting aspects of the story was the childhood back story. Now that they are adults there is zero chemistry. Is it typical of this author to take an eternity to get to the point?

The FL and her crush are so aggravating. She is meek in a way that is absolutely goofy, and she has two characters that actually like her and she fucks them, but she goes after some stiff jerk. I am on chapter 12, but if they needed an excuse for her to smash multiple people with getting wet as her special power, they could have introduced her to a polycule, rather than focus on a douchey crush. Seems like she is trying to pursue a relationship while actively fucking two people.
And then the crush gets cheated on repeatedly cuz he can't get it up
