Can someone explain why they like kashima so much he’s so boring to me I actually don’t understand

    Pri May 10, 2026 10:15 am

Maybe they like well behaved, kind, honest, non-tsundere and straightforward people like kashima?

    Feather May 10, 2026 11:18 am

Hes just a good guy bro like there's not a bad bone in his body u remember how yacchans personality is a ripoff of kashimas and tono used to call him a saint? That's why, he lwk encourages his friends no matter what and ws willing to give up his affection for tono to make yacchan happy but was dissuaded by yacchan to keep fair competition/ Hes Hella stable doesn't beat around the bush and respects Tonos feelings/ hes just overall great bro I don't see how you dont understand/ maybe you see him as boring but hes a great character who puts his friends before himself and always encourages Tono in a good direction

    susubaizhu May 10, 2026 11:29 am

if bro thinks being kind, well behaved and sweet guy is boring idk what to say

I also don’t understand. I guess they think being kinder = deserves love more. That’s not how it works, they both deserve love just as much and personally I like how yacchan slowly falls head over heels vs kashima just likes toono the first second and we don’t know why.

He literally explained why he didnt understand why he didnt know bro are u reading this Manga with us? And what do u mean kinder doesn't mean deserves more love vro? If you treat people like bull and expect to be babied return and compare that to a guy who puts his friends before himself its sort of obvious whos more meritorious. Kashima knows how to communicate with Tono with minimal misunderstanding whereas Yacchan built the entire relationship on a false persona and under the shitty motive to degrade/be better than one of his only actual friends

Not really kashima is just the mary sue, perfectly kind and pushy seme that i am tired of seeing. Regardless of the genre characters that are too perfect are not well-written to me. I prefer characters that are more developed and multifaceted. However these bland and kind characters are definitely more popular which is why they are in so many series. Yacchan doesn’t treat people badly he just has a foul mouth which is why not everyone messes with him. But the people who get him, stay. I like how Yacchan can be himself around Toono and how Toono accepts Yacchan. Yacchan does not expect anyone to go along with his firey personality but cherishes the people who do. I like seeing the growth of Yacchans it’s much more interesting to me than perfect kind seme likes mc because he’s the ml. I don’t mind Kashima but I don’t see much chemistry with Toono, I feel like he’d be better with someone who brings out more emotions from him but that’s my opinion.

Yacchan hasn't come to a point where he can develop his own personality and be unafraid of showing it, he still pursues Kashimas shadow and plots to defeat him through Tono. Once Yacchan overcomes that complex I see an iota of a functional relationship possible, until then though not really.

Yacchan does not only have a foul mouth, he treats his friends *badly*. For example, Kashima, who does nothing but care and dote after him. Tono, who Yacchan had initially seen as a pawn to defeat Kashima and arguably still slightly sees tono in that light. Kashima is not a bland character either, he is simple and understanding, but he makes the most sense to be paired with tono because he understands the weight of a relationship and is comfortable with himself. Yacchan is not.

    Carlota15 May 10, 2026 10:21 pm

Simple, because Kashima doesn't need to pretend to be someone else like a loser to be liked by everyone, he's his own self being and people like him for who he is. Yaguchi needs therapy.

Are the character designs inspired by No Home..?

TeddyRuffles March 3, 2026 6:06 am

What the hell?? Im actually so mad I know it’s not that serious but omg why wouldyou do this to Yacchan spent so mjuch time developing his character for what? I’m gonna cry

    Eiguessidek March 3, 2026 4:50 pm

I think fleshing out a character doesn’t mean that the character NEEDS to be paired with protag. If sensei spent so much time developing his character that means there’s obviously gonna be a yacchan arc later on.
