i came out to my mom when i was 13 and was hit with the “what do you know you’re still a child”, i’m off to college now and she’s subtly accepting that it was never a phase alongside the rest of my family. besides my dad and brother, never told em cuz they’re homophobic. so i say go for it if you know its safe

I've always loved long hairstyle like mullet or wolf cut and every time mom saw me she always told me to cut it short because I looked too gay/too feminine. I've stuck with the "it's for hair donation" excuse for 2 years now
I guess our family's bloodline ends with me since I'm not marry a woman, but as long as I can live comfortably without having to lose anything, I'd do it even if I'm not being true to myself... I guess you can gauge the reactions or beat around the bush or something like that. Anyway I hope you can find the choice you're comfortable with :)
