Miscommunication is always the plot device used to drive the main characters apart and it can 100% happen in real life but I personally feel like the execution and set up for why the miscommunication happened was very weak. The lie was a million times worse than the truth and it truly did not make any logical sense for the lie to be told. I can see where they tried to set it up but it was a total swing n a miss for me.
I wouldn't say that, Alex got blackmailed and we can't forget that he was still a teen at the time, came from nothing (felt completely powerless) and probably panicked to the point where he didn't think stuff through, especially seeing that Nathan was ambushed. He just wanted to protect Nathan and was scared. Those circumstances don't lead to the best decisions. I'd say he held the pain of feeling pressured to push Nathan away for a long while and that makes the angst somewhat believable
I really really hate this manhwa… I’ve read all kinds of terrible and messed up Manhwas and mangas over the years but this one takes the cake. It has an interesting plot but it’s terribly written, imo. I simply do not care for the characters and if that horrible rapist pos is endgame, I refuse to continue reading. Like probably the least likeable ML I’ve encountered. And the MC is just such a loser. the “paying off family debt by myself” trope is common—not that I’m tired of it!—but the characters have to be interesting if you’re going making it the same old trope. And I simply don’t care. The one interesting aspect about MC is that he seems to be a masochist but I really just hate/am disgusted by the ML that I don’t care to read anymore. So this is my departure. Maybe I’ll come back when it’s done just to reading the ending but I doubt it

What the fuck was that??? Why is the author rushing shit now? These chapters lately are like .3 seconds long. I’d rather wait a bit longer for good quality story writing and illustration than have this shit rushed bc wtf was that cliffhanger? MC has never once mistaken ML for his evil twin brother before (I swear they even made a point of that in the flashbacks) yet somehow he mistakes him now? Even if he was drugged up, he already knows that the evil brother died years ago but somehow he mistakes him now? It’s just my opinion, but I think that particular part was such just extremely lazy writing.
This can only go on of two ways. Either Yeongjo is gonna learn to forgive him after almost losing him or ml dies and Yeongjo forgives him, mourns him but eventually moves on.
Now I always want a happy ending but with the way this story is going,
It could be a bittersweet one. Either way, I’m okay with it. This story is just too good
I’ve been reading bl, yaoi for years now (I honestly can’t even remember when it started lol) but I have this annoying thing where I always root for the “main” couple. Like whoever the mc likes first or comes into contact with first is the decided endgame (in my mind) and I have a hard time accepting 2nd ml’s, so when I first started reading this, I wanted the hairstylist with out mc and no one else but now…
I’m starting to really like the 2nd ml for our mc. Yes, I acknowledged that he was sweet and a way better dude than the ml but still I like what I like but as of this chapter, I’m happy with mc ending up with whoever (for once)

Don’t get me wrong, I’m eatin this uuuup but they really do just be throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks for the plot
No deadass like I couldn’t help but giggle when ofc he comes in at the perfect time and kills everyone in 3 seconds LMFAO
I wish we could like responding comments bc frfr this is just too comedically poetic
