I once did a presentation on body modification with a PowerPoint presentation. Tatoos, piercings, scarification and stuff like that. Unfortunately it was a bad choice because almost the whole class covered their eyes through most of the presentation. And I'd left out the really extreme stuff too. Whimps.

Lezhin is taken advantage of their authors not paying them from their chinese sales and basically treating them like trash you know, in the asian way, like slaves.
A lot of authors were dropped :( they basically have their work still on the website but unfinished and they werent paid for more then a year and they would be little to no pay for their work

That is actually only a rumor, and it is not true. There was one incident with the Asain branch where they had not payed authors for a year, purely by accident. The authors recieved their payment and some compensation. They worked on improving that branch and they never had that issue again. The authors who are claiming that they are not being payed fairly are other only following the bandwagon or they did not read their contract thoroughly enough. If Lezhin wasn't going through with their terms of contract, they would have failed as a service a long time ago. Koogi made a comment about not being payed fairly with a link to a petition, but if it wasn't a rumor, why would she schedule Killing Stalking season 3 for May? She would've just stayed on hiatus, on strike, or terminated her contract.
Normally, because what needs to be done has to be done. Koogi is someone who would take things seriously and not break promises. I want to the AnimeExpo'17 for a signing and she was really cool. So even if Lezhin is a shithead she cares about her supporters. :(

hi its worth a shot lol does anyone wanna help me with my case study homework. so basically theres a manager that is task oriented and does the job done as a manager but it seems hes disengaged w his employees and lack advocacy. in the case employees took a survey for the manager and the results were mostly neutral results. how would you guys do to fix this problem ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ i was thinking team building activities/meetings? or management classes or demotion/warning lol
if the responses were mostly neutral, it probably means the employees are somewhat pleased with their manager/working environment. handing out demotions or warnings would undermine that and cause displeasure, in my opinion. so, i think you should go with your first idea of conducting more meetings, to get the employees more engaged in the work place, and team building exercises would be great for bringing the team closer together.

Baeby-chan says it all but I just wanna add.. a review of staff competency and staff development training maybe also implemented, it takes two to build a relationship, by looking at the survey, the team shows signs of passiveness and lack enthusiasm, a prospect of the manager being disengaged because of lack of confidence due to the members' abilities and work attitudes should be considered. The manager gets the work done so demotion/warning is unnecessary. Scheduled staff meeting where employees can share ideas and promote creativeness are proven to be successful. A staff representative may also be elected, a person who can talk to the manager about sentiments and criticisms of the team.

Related but not the same... Meetings are more formal and goal oriented with a focus topic of discussion, promotes creativeness, confidence and equality; while team building does not necessarily need to be related to the job itself but more centered on the relationship between staff members, it can promote unity, enthusiasm, competitiveness and teamwork, downside is it can be costly and time consuming
so between meetings and team building which one seems more suitable? sorry for asking too much ╥﹏╥
i personally think that a more unified team = closer relationship between manager and team = increased support for the manager. therefore, i favor the latter.
