I feel like the twin plot just wasnt needed such a fluffy story

I think it would have worked similarly if it was some bipolar or double personality disorder (i am aware these are different conditions as i am diagnosed as one of them, i just think both could work depending on the execution)

This way the author would have been able to avoid the rape scene (which btw was so easily brushed off? Mc was traumatized, talked to the seme and all of the sudden they are having sex again ?) while also maintaining the suspicious and kind of mysterious vibe going on with the mc character

Im so upset about the twin plot specially the execution when it comes down to the resolution

Seems like a nice story to some extent but it annoys the shit out of me how we spend half of the story seeing the uke getting railed by other guys like oml wrap it up, get to the point

Note: yes, people do have sex, thats normal, but it comes down to how you wanna plan your story. Do you really want your romance story to spend half of its chapters not going anywhere and just showing one of the parts getting action with other people while youre audience is seeing barely no development between the couple? I personally wouldnt.

I see so many bls like this where the seme does the same thing for most part of the story (specially recently as it seems its the most popular trope currently and the only things that comes out nowadays) and the uke is the one who waits patiently for him. And guess what? everyone hates it and throws shit at the story ( rightfully so) because at the end of the day its just bad writing.

If you wanna show your characters experiencing sex with other people before getting into a relationship with their love interest, thats completely fine, but you gotta know how to do it well and most importantly, for how long to do it. Otherwise, if you spend too much time at it, their transition to lovers WILL feel rushed and insufficient.
