if he's really serious about that "promise" and trying to do something he can be more blunt about it, he just acts like a kid, I don't even trust him fully because his way of thinking is genuinely stupid how can somebody expect other to remember a promise made with no real intentions and as a joke, it's childish
What's childish is not to realize that it wasn't a promise "made with no real intentions" to the ML because the MC never gave any indication that it wasn't serious. Just because the MC did wrong by making that promise and forgetting doesn't make it mls fault for taking it seriously. They both suck at communicating.
