No, my mother is an Obstetrician and she had gone to a friend of her who is ob Obs as well to know if its a girl or a boy, idk what type of answer you wanted but just wuthout checking on the ultrasound etc, no, an Obs doctor wont know the gender reply
Sorry for answering to this question even though I’m not an atheist. I am a Muslim and I was not raised in a religious household at all my father does not practice religion by any means etc. I never properly left my religion but for around five seven years I didn’t practice it at all but to me now as someone who will always complete all my pray...... reply

Honestly I wish my parents would go to therapy as well but if your situation is like mine, you’re not in any position to do that.
Often mothers are more understanding so I would suggest that u , rather than making ur parents go to the therapist, you should become their therapist.
