Why cant people make a story without rape for once? Almost every single new Bl or old have fucking rape in it and I can’t stand it. They don’t even put a warning, and it’s even worse when they label it as a ‘ psychological’ or ‘dark romance’ story.
Is it that fucking hard to write a ‘psychological’ story without rape? A psychological story targets MENTAL HEALTH. I’m positive that shit can be done without rape. They also make the mc forgive the rapist like a dumb little bitch with an ‘redemption arc’, and the rapist usually gets a side story if they aren’t the Ml being all happy and shit.
I get that this is fictional but it’s getting so annoying at this point, and heterosexual stories aren’t any better. They have the mc as the dumbest character I’ve ever seen and the Ml as the most abusive rumbumptious asshole. The Ml can do the most outrageous shit known to man and can get away with it, and in some cases the mc too, in stupid transmigration or time travel stories.
They are also so obsessed with ‘love triangles’ which aren’t even love triangles but love angles. I can’t even say anything about Yuri stories because there are barely any good ones on here and if there are some, they are so unpopular compared to the shitty counterparts like every story in every genre.

Another rant about cockroaches, those nugators get on my fucking nerves. These draffish little insects piss me off with their very existence. Why do their legs look like that? Why the fuck do their antennas twitch like that? Why the fuck are they so fast? Why the fuck can they never die?
They are useless, and even if they somehow have a use other than scaring the shit out of people, they can be easily replaced with a cooler bug. The flying ones are terrifying, and you can’t even swat them out of the air unless it lands on a wall or surface.

And in most cases on LOVE ANGLES, the protagonists always ends up w the worst fucking guy on earth

I’m not sure but every single panel is hand drawn and typed out which takes very long to do which could cause them to neglect their own health and not realize how bad it is until it’s too late
Sedentry lifetsyle because they must be working remote, screen time, extremely demanding schedule, no pay guarantee (like they don't get salaries), toxic companies, and I think most small authors work alone. I'm sure the millions of views on piracy websites contributes to the stress. Idk if it's specific to BL authors tho
I drew art for 30 days straight for a fandom project and my wrist started hurting like a bitch. I can imagine if you're creating art for months/years, at some point your body just gives up on you.
Ah yes, I’ve heard that many companies haven’t been paying their workers well. The demand on producing chapters every week has been a huge problem, plenty of people make jokes about mappa workers being overworked but I can’t help but feel so bad for them. As for the piracy websites, I believe that they always have the right to be upset but I don’t think they should focus on these things to fuel their stress. Piracy isn’t going anywhere from the looks of it, people are also in financial situations so maybe they cannot pay for it, still that doesn’t excuse anything but shows a reason.
I can barely write 4 essays for different classes in the same time period so that must be terrible. I know this isn’t really a good comparison but after writing 2 essays for my classes, my hand and fingers hurt so bad. I couldn’t imagine drawing for 30 days straight so props to you. But yeah, your body does give up after a while of doing the same thing over and over again.
As you word it like that, now I understand why they use 3D models. I cant even fathom the pain some of the authors go through, mainly traditional manga artist who have to draw and ink everything.
