Am I the only one who feels like this story was weak af….. like her being a transmigrated character barely had any effect on the story and it felt like it would have been better set up if it was just a normal fantasy setting where valeta was just an “original character”… felt like the first 50 chapters glazed over her 20 years growing up too much for her personality to make sense (it got better later on and her characterisation was stronger) but the start when the story was just circling around her trying to get rein to leave it was like uhh ok??
I’m so confused bc this story has all the ingredients of a GOOOOD reincarnation novel… hot characters…. Unannoying personalities… obsessive but loyal and clingy ML, smart and decisive FL, PRETTYY ARTTTTT, and a good premise for an interesting plot that was moving forward at a good pace, but like what was even happening sometimes?? Why would they successfully get out of situations just to go back and be surprised when they’re caught and trapped… and conveniently her spirit pet can break her curse!
Barely any explanation or meaningful interaction between Valeta and the dukes to explain why they got so protective over her other than some sympathy… or why Sinon (?) and the other magician were so loyal to rein… so many likeable characters that work in theory but their actual impact in the story always felt so thin and convenient…. That said I’m still at ch100 LOL p good read if I turned my brain off but I’m sad this didn’t hit as hard as I wanted it to

We’re still on the same problem rhe story started with: Ilyana wants escape and doesn’t believe in Mag’s feelings for her, and Mag still thinks he only wants to get revenge on her
