One of the best stories I have read. I was so worried there would be fetishization and explicit violence that is drawn out, but no! If you hated how Yona and Chang-il BL has rape that is drawn out explicitly, you will love this story. Mainly because although we see the sexual assault happening, there is no explicit scenes.
Some are even just implied. Now this is a perfect example of good writing that does not sexualize SA. Not every SA needs to be explicitly drawn, it just shocks and horrify people. I am still shocked by the implications, so we do not need explicit scenes of rape.
I love this story. I started reading this just an hour or two ago and finished right now. This story goes into great depth of how hurtful and traumatizing sexual assault can be, and how victims can be hyper sexual to some degree and hate themselves. It does not romanticize staying with the abuser either.
I bet most of the sex never felt good for Sehyun (black hair on cover) because he felt flustered when Boris (white hair on cover) did the basics of fore play. He was never used to such gentle touches.
Sehyun felt that he didn’t deserve this because he thought after being forced by many guys, Boris would find him disgusting. He didn’t want to Ruin Boris.
I am disappointed about is that it felt rushed towards the end. It became a bit vague of what happened on the stair way and it skipped to a scene of Boris in the hospital with Sehyun next to him, I assume the lady who was walking up the stairs assisted them.
Another disappointing thing is how Michael, Sehyun’s abuser, is still out there with the other guy who first raped Sehyun. This story does show that abusers can get away sometimes. Michael was given many chances to start anew with Sehyun, but he had severe mommy issues.
To anyone reading this, if you want to be a parent, please do not raise a son or daughter like Michael. That abuser is who he is due to lack of affection growing up, but he still made his own choices that hurt victims. Michael’s mother did her best by giving him a gun to kill himself because that’s what he needs to do.
Sehyun was caring and lenient with Michael until Michael passed him around. You cannot fix an abuser, this is realistic story. Sehyun explained how he was raped by that long haired guy, that he was being threatened, but Michael was too enraged to truly care. He just wanted to control someone and make them like his mother.
For some context, Michael’s mother was in a loveless marriage I believe and raped. Michael was born and his mother, based on Michael’s words, hates him for being born.
Michael is absolute trash. Not once did he try to listen to Sehyun, and not once did he protect him from others. Boris is the one who gave Sehyun the will to live because he protected him and listened to him.
Sometimes, those two things are all it takes to make someone live again. I loved reading this story, and how realistic this was. I usually hate these kind of stories where the bottoms are getting rape after rape, because the authors always show it.
The thrusting scenes, the sfx, as if the bottoms enjoy it, drugs, etc. This was just nice and refreshing to read without feeling horribly uncomfortable!
I suggest anyone to give this a go!

it's complicated because the male lead (ML) is a psychopath. After the royal figures killed his parents and ruined his life, he shut off his nice persona, "Shin Haejun," changed everything about himself, and became a psychopath. He even once used a picture of Ryujin getting gang-raped as jerk-off material. He mostly doesn't get jealous,it's mostly obsession. By the novel's end, his Shin Haebun persona changes a little, so he likely wouldn't let others gang-rape the mc again and would try to be happy with him and keep him happy, but he would almost certainly continue raping the MC himself. They didn't know each other before the events shown, and the MC had been gang raped twice in total,once in his school days by his classmates and again by the ml and others orchestrated by the ugly ass old man. He's impotent by birth so he doesn't join but he enjoys watching him getting gangraped,it was in his order that the gangrape happens infact by his underlings military soldiers and the ml. He had done this with other victims before as well. The ml will kill the old man at the end of the novel. At the very end, the ML says he's sorry and sheds two tears, and the MC, having developed Stockholm syndrome and fallen in love with him, ends up forgiving him.
