A little bit, yeah--Kind of similar to the ending of Stranger Things. But, since this is a comic drawn panel by panel, there is only so much an artist is willing to take the time to draw, so I don't blame them completely tbh ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Same, he is extremely pushy about everything, possessive, and seemingly another one of 'those' male leads that hate when she talks to anyone other than him. Not a lot of hope with this.
Personally I don't like him because he didn't explain his condition when even he was astounded she survived. Giving someone a heads up would help their chances even more. Sigh. Was hoping for a better ML but each to their own.
In the novel its explained it better. Hes more brave with his feelings. Tells her straight up he wants to be more than what they're. She doesn't want to (she was insecure and worried about her hometown) didnt want to promise anything yet spoiler

It was her decision. She also didn't want to know. She is main reason why he didn't explain himself. She back off immediately if tried. She wants to go back to her hometown. In novel she the one not wanting this relationship with him.
He still pissess me off, what do you mean she “play the nurse” and “play the saint” … cmon
fr it sounds condescending
