Why is that? He's one of the most kind hearted, selfless and caring character ever created. He never blames others for all the terrible things that have happened to him but rather only rely on himself. His only problem is that he relies on himself way too much and it's still impossible for him to let go and rely on his lover. Let's no forget the seme kinda forced himself into Dojun's life at the beginning. It made Dojun fall way later for the seme. It's not that the seme loves him more it's just that Dojun needs a bit more time. I love them both so much. And the art is exquisite. It's actually one of the few BLs I could read over & over without getting bored. I discover new subtle details to their love dynamic whenever I read the story again

What you said is true, but he has more problems than one. His relationship with his 'brother,' for starters, was really wrong. His thinking that they can go back to being family is strange to me. Because he has no self-awareness and low self-esteem, he is hurting people around him. He knew that he hurt the seme's feelings (I can understand the thing with hands). He should go to him and explain. He shouldn't go with the other guy - that evening and then on some trip (with the person whom he had/have feelings for). These small actions are showing what your priorities are.

Sometimes we don't learn from mistakes we make(for me, i'ts a bad trait). Sadly, being kind can hurt people too.

He is a people-pleaser. That's his main issue and basically what you described as well. He cannot make all the people in his life happy. Of course some of them will get hurt while he deals with others. The only time Dojun annoys me a bit is when he lacks affection towards Taeseok. He did take his time to trust him and fall for him but sometimes he gives me the impression he's not that much into Taeseok. It's like he accepted him because TS kept insisting and Dojun somehow gave up. Luckily he's been expressing himself and his feelings a bit more but clearly it's still not enough
